Clarington

On June 24, 2009 ACO Clarington branch was founded. Clark Morawetz was elected the first Branch President.

ACO Clarington is helping our community preserve local buildings and structures of architectural merit and places of natural beauty and interest.

We meet quarterly in Bowmanville or at other interesting locations in Clarington, at 7:00 PM.
We have an AGM in September.

All welcome to attend meetings but only members can vote.

The current Executive Team is:

Bernice Norton President ACO Clarington Branch,
Jason Moore Vice-President,
Scott Story Treasurer,
Rick McEachern Secretary.

Bill Humber is our ACO representative on the Jury Lands Foundation.

Sher Leetooze is our ACO representative on the Newcastle Village and District Historical Society.

The ACO has a seat on the Clarington Heritage Committee, a municipal advisory committee.  ACO Clarington's Vice President Jason Moore represents ACO at CHC meetings.

We are looking for a Chair of the Doors Open Clarington Planning Committee.

Doors Open Clarington is an annual event held the second Saturday of June.  Take some time to visit our one day volunteer run event in lovely Clarington.
