Woodholme Manor

1384 Wonderland Rd. N. London ON, N6G 2C1

Historic Woodholme Manor is located on an oversized 1.26 acre lot. The premiere attraction for Sifton's Woodholme Park development, Woodholme Manor, built in 1893 by Richard Shaw-Wood, sits high atop the former Lawson Estate grounds.

Constructed in late Victorian Gothic Revival style, Woodholme was the residence of two prominent London families: the
Richard Shaw-Wood family; and later Colonel Tom Lawson and his wife, Miggsie. This estate, at 1384 Wonderland Rd. N., was in its time one of the few concrete-poured homes in North America.

Architecturally significant due to its many unique features and attributes, including its concrete construction, castle architectural dominance, impressive vaulted stairway accessing its three levels. Immense ballroom leading to a uniquely crafted fireplace and French doors leading to its oversized spacious grounds.
