DATE: May 1 - November 30, 2021

LOCATION: Hamilton ON,

EVENT URL: https://www.doorsopenontario.on.ca

EVENT DESCRIPTION:

This year marks two firsts: the first time that the event has been organized by the ACO Hamilton Region Branch and the first digital event for the City of Hamilton (last year’s event scheduled for the first week was cancelled due to the pandemic). Each site includes a brief history, a Google map, a slideshow of images and some also include YouTube videos. Inwardout Productions, Steady Canoe and Lance Darren Cole were commissioned to provide drone videos of Westfield Heritage Village, the Balfour House and the Cotton Factory.  The latter has just been released and may be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKLdtJIppTA&feature=youtu.be.  A final video with many iconic Hamilton buildings will be forthcoming in August. Some live events will be scheduled throughout the year with strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
